Founded in 1996 by Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton (formerly Nida & Maloney), Southern California Edison, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Westmont College and Paine Weber, the non-profit California Coast Venture Forum (formerly the Central Coast Venture Forum) and its 100-member Advisory Board have assisted over 300 emerging companies with their business plans, resulting in $110 million in capital investment. Now in its 11th year, the California Coast Venture Forum has expanded to all companies seeking growth across the nation and has expanded to the Institutional Investors, the Venture Capitalists and the Angel Investors in the United States.

A sell-out event every year, this year's Venture Forum will be dedicated to "CLEANTECH" and promises to attract over 200 participants to the conference where approximately 20 companies will communicate their business plans in live presentations and product demonstrations to the conference attendees. Panel discussions by leading venture capital firms and industry leaders will provide strategies on how developing companies can attract and secure new funding.
