Art is the Chief Financial Officer of Brite Media Group. Brite Media Group is backed by Trimaran Capital Partners and is building a group of alternative media businesses. Concurrently with its launch, Brite Media Group acquired BriteVision Media, the dominant producer and distributor of coffee sleeve advertising in the United States. BriteVision provides coffee sleeve advertising through an exclusive café network comprised of upscale independent coffeehouses and chain café locations.
Art Baer was previously founder of Impress Gum and was President and CEO of the Company. Impress Gum was the first company to market chewing gum in Singapore. Prior to founding Impress Gum, Mr. Baer was an investment banker with Lehman Brothers in the Private Placement Group in New York. At Lehman Brothers, Art was responsible for valuing, structuring, negotiating and placing private equity and debt securities for media, consumer, healthcare, and technology companies. While at Lehman Brothers, Art helped public and private companies raise more than $500 million. Art received a B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Georgetown University.
