Terry Horsman


Since 1983, Terry Horsmon has been a corporate strategist and general management consultant at one of the industry’s cutting edge operational strategy companies, True North.

Mr. Horsmon has created successful branding and launch strategies for new ventures in such companies as BMW, Dreamworks Animation, Hewlett- Packard, Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, Home Box Office, General Motors and Anheuser Busch. He has implemented change management efforts, team formation activities and organizational strategy creation and implementation for companies valued between $2 million and $300 million.

A former corporate strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company, Mr. Horsmon also spent seven years as a marketing and production executive at Columbia Pictures and MGM-United Artists.

Over the past fifteen years, Mr. Horsmon has evaluated nearly one hundred new venture and emerging business proposals and has assisted in the launch of over two dozen new entities. He has held senior staff and board level positions at eight start-up companies. He presently oversees operational strategy for AIM Group, LLC, a Los Angeles/Beijing based strategic alliance with the PRC Chinese government. He interfaces with senior executives for AIM Group’s music publishing, film production, financial software and construction development units.

Mr. Horsmon earned an AB Degree with High Honors from Amherst College. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and completed post graduate study at Yale University School of Medicine, where he drafted national health care legislation for the U.S. Senate Labor Committee. He was a field strategist for two U.S Presidential campaigns, two U.S. Senate campaigns and several California statewide office campaigns.

Certified as a Master Scenario Planner at Global Business Network and as a certified Leadership Trainer at Covey Leadership Center, Mr. Horsmon also is a credentialed executive coach and facilitator for several team leadership training models.
