Tariq Mufti
Tariq Mufti, an engineer by training, has held executive positions for 35 years, including 20-plus years at the CEO/COO level, with success in Change Management, Strategic Planning, Organizational Design, Technology Management, and International Marketing.
Leading companies in new directions, into new markets, and into new processes, Tariq Mufti has conducted business across three continents, in industries as diverse as Software Development, Process Control, Plant Engineering, Medical Diagnostics, Aviation, and Printing & Publishing. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Turkey, and has done graduate work in Systems Engineering and Mathematics.
Tariq is currently focused on mentoring and advising businesses in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, helping them mitigate threats and identify opportunities, and develop & implement strategies for funding, survival, change & growth.
He is also active in the community, sitting on committees, Advisory Boards and Board of Directors of several business and social organizations in the region. Tariq is accredited by The Institute for Independent Business, an international accreditation body dedicated to supporting SME’s.
Tariq Mufti lives in Ojai, California, and is married, with two adult sons.
