Joseph Nida is a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group of
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Nida was the founder of and a resident of the Santa Barbara office where he represents public and private companies and development stage companies in the area of securities, mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance and general business. Joe has practiced law in Santa Barbara for more than thirty years. His knowledge and experience have been instrumental in the growth of many public and private companies headquartered in this area. He was a Founder and is the Chairman of the Central Coast Venture Forum.
Professional Qualifications
Mr. Nida currently serves as the Corporate Secretary of two public companies: Miravant Medical Technologies (OTC BB MRVT) and Deckers Outdoor Corporation (Nasdaq-NMS DECK), and he is also a Director or Officer of a number of emerging growth companies.
