Entrepreneurs with emerging-growth start-ups and later stage companies with fifth-year projected revenues exceeding $20 million seeking venture capital funding should submit their business plans to the California Coast Venture Forum (CCVF).
Approximately 25 companies will be selected for the Venture Forum to communicate their business plans to venture capitalists, institutional investors and angel investors. In the past, the previous Venture Forum Conferences have hosted over 100 emerging companies raising in excess of $110 million in new capital and establishing valuable business relationships. The past CCVF Venture Forum Conferences have had over 350 in attendance. Approximately 1/3rd of the attendees are professional accredited investors.
Representatives of selected presenting and exhibiting companies must attend the Venture Forum. In addition, companies selected to present will participate in several coaching sessions designed to help them refine their business plans and prepare their presentations. Companies who are selected to exhibit, but not present, will have the opportunity to meet potential accredited investors to demonstrate or describe their products in the "Marketplace" at the Venture Forum.
You will need to follow the steps below to be considered for the Venture Forum Conference. The materials you submit will be used by our selection committee which includes both industry and financial experts. Upon review of your materials, you will be contacted by one of the committee members with our decision. If you are selected to present or exhibit at the Venture Forum Conference, the materials you submit during this process will also be used to create a company summary for your firm that will be distributed to our investors and conference attendees. Our investors and conference attendees will also have online access to your company summary during and after the conference. You will be able to update your materials online at anytime.
