Ron Macleod

Ron Macleod is Vice President in Mellon Private Wealth Management Group. Mr. Macleod leads a team of specialists offering expert services including: institutional asset management, private wealth management, corporate, institutional services, estate and trust services.

Macleod’s team caters to corporate directors and senior management, endowments, foundations, educational institutions, wealthy individuals and family office partnerships.

Macleod has over 20 years of experience on Wall Street and the capital markets, including senior positions at Merrill Lynch, Drexel Burnham, Georgeson and The NASDAQ Stock Market.

Macleod has extensive startup, business development, fundraising and general management experience in financial services, venture capital, private equity, global stock exchanges, corporate advisory and investment banking. Attending the UCLA, Mr. Macleod majored in business economics, with emphasis in film and television. He has maintained a Series 7 & 63 licenses with the NASD since 1981.

Mr. Macleod was one of the founding principals for the Santa Barbara Technology Group and former Managing Director of Capital Markets, Global Sales & Investment Banking for The NASDAQ Stock Market. Macleod sits on several boards including: The Dream Foundation and the Central Coast Venture Forum.

Personal interests include: skiing, private pilot and horses.
